Thank you for your interest in the Legacy Cultural Foundation's annual bursary for artists. Our bursaries are designed to support and encourage emerging and established artists who are committed to creating meaningful and impactful cultural initiatives.


To apply for a bursary, please ensure that you meet our eligibility criteria, which include demonstrating a strong passion and commitment to your craft, showcasing a track record of excellence in your artistic discipline, and showcasing a clear vision for your proposed cultural initiative.


Additionally, applicants must be at least 18 years of age and must be able to demonstrate financial need. We encourage all eligible artists to submit a comprehensive application that includes a proposal outlining their artistic vision and the potential impact of their cultural initiative, a detailed budget, a current CV or resume, and relevant supporting materials such as letters of recommendation or a portfolio of previous work.
